Le Comte de Saint Germain, the "Wonderman of Europe" in the 18th and 19th centuries A.D.. He developed a reputation of being an outstanding alchemist, scholar, linguist, musician, artist and diplomat. He worked behind the scenes to try to establish a United States of Europe and to prevent the bloodshed of violent revolution. His powers included bilocation, appearing at court and then dissolving his form at will, removing flaws from diamonds and other precious stones, and precipitating an elixir that prevented aging. He is the Cohan of the Seven Ray and became a Master as Count Rakoczy.

Among these great Ones, is the Master Djwhal Khul, also known as the Tibetan, or to His students simply as the Master D.K.. He is one of the better known Masters, having worked through numerous channels, notably Madam H. P. Blavatsky and Alice Bailey. Through Madam Blavatsky (late 1800's) His powerful work "The Secret Doctrine," revolutionized spiritual thought of the day introducing to the world at large ageless wisdom teachings. While still living and teaching in Tibet, He continued His channelled materials to the West through Alice Bailey during the first half of the 20th century, creating an impressive body of spiritual resource material which is still available to seekers today. He is a Second Ray Master, Who along with the Lord Maitreya, work in the second Department of the Spiritual Hierarchy. He works closely with His dear friend, the Master Kuthumi, also known as the Master K.H.

Hilarion is Chohan of the Fifth Ray, the green ray, of truth, science, vision and prosperity. He works with souls to help them gain mastery in the third-eye chakra and green-ray qualities, including healing and the science of holding the immaculate concept. The Fifth Ray is related to the third-eye chakra while the ray's color is an emerald green. With regards to this area of work, Hilarion's influence is not solely healing, but also includes music and science and focused 'vision' through the perceptions of the third-eye. The apostle Paul was one of Hilarion’s incarnations. By stages Paul put on the mantle of his Lord and accomplished many works as his instrument in healings, miracles, prophecies and fiery conversions.

The Master Koot Humi, who is also very well known in the occident, and has many pupils everywhere, is of Kashmiri origin, though the family originally came from India. He is also an initiate of high degree, and is upon the second, or the Love-Wisdom Ray. He is a man of noble presence, and tall, though of rather slighter build than the Master M. He is of fair complexion, with golden-brown hair and beard, and eyes of a wonderful deep blue, through which seem to pour the love and the wisdom of the ages. He has had a wide experience and education, having been originally educated at one of the British universities, and speaks English fluently.

The Master Morya, in the teachings of Theosophy is one of the "Masters of the Ancient Wisdom". He is regarded by some as a Master of the First Ray (see Seven Rays). Morya first became known to the modern world when H. P. Blavatsky revealed him and Master Koot Hoomi to be her guides in establishing the Theosophical Society. Blavatsky wrote that Masters Morya and Koot Hoomi belonged to a group of highly developed humans known as the Great White Brotherhood. He is said to have been in incarnation two thousand years ago as Saint Peter.

Esoterically an adept is not a Master of Wisdom until He has achieved the fifth initiation or, in other words, until He has entered the spiritual plane and His consciousness embraces the fifth or spiritual kingdom. The Masters are members of that group of 'Illumined Minds' which is guided by love and understanding, and by deep compassion and inclusiveness towards humanity. They are striving towards a comprehension and translation of the Divine Purpose, and are illumined by knowledge of the Plan; they are also characterized by a readiness to sacrifice their own immediate spiritual progress if thereby they can assist humanity in its upward struggle.
